ACTIVITIES
As an Application Owner, you will be the linchpin for a suite of essential packaged software applications, notably those tied to EBI Star equipment, which are crucial for railway operations. Your daily activities will span the full lifecycle of application ownership within a dynamic support team. This includes proactive monitoring of application performance and health, identifying potential issues before they impact services, and coordinating with external vendors for updates, patches, and problem resolution. You will be responsible for incident management, leading the charge in troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring swift restoration of services. Furthermore, you will manage change requests, evaluate new features, and ensure seamless integration of enhancements. Regular communication with stakeholders, including operational teams and end-users, will be key to gathering feedback and aligning application evolution with business needs.
